I like to work in grey scale when painting more "rendered" illustrations, makes it easier to figure out the different tones before adding colour.

Not really sure what the Cu and Pa Suzuho androids are a reference to, but I'm pretty sure the Co one is based on reclining Buddha statues, while the overall android design looks inspired by Metropolis (1927)

I had a crazy dream but remember almost nothing about it. All I remember was this view I had from the window of the airplane I was on. Those black dots are supposed to represent people, and those statues are supposed to be bronze. It was also very foggy.
