i love how the animation came out, the subtle nature of the movement.

In contemporary cartoons I notice it more when the eye shape is hand-drawn (like on Star here), but the pupil-white-shines are clearly ellipse-tool shapes.
It's subtle, but it's a mark of two aesthetics that are at odds with each other.
@DNiibashi Princess Ilana from Sym-Bionic Titan. Her hair is like that because she's an alien and the cresent moon motif is present in the show.
Her bodyguard Lance has a moon in his hair too but it's more subtle.
Also she's one of the only characters here who fits the criteria.
I always draw hands and feet appealing, I think there's subtleness play with when drawing them.... Also I like sleeves that cover part of the hand lol

Arisugawa Academy girls seem to like this "dainty hand lightly holding hair at ear" pose...and i'm so unconsciously weak to this sorta pose. It's very pretty & lends a subtle air of feminine elegance
surprisingly, the subtle way these outfits represent mega ampharos and delibird respectively is really interesting. very worth analyzing.... it's that power of suggestion that i would like to incorporate into my own designs

Still really pleased with this art from 2016. First time drawing Trick's old friends, and I still really like how warm Watchy and Creature are. Even the not-so-subtle ringmaster skulking in the crowd. I wanna re-draw it, but also, I just like it too damned much.
