Here's the original version. I Frankensteined the shoes and crotch guard from two HnK PS2 Jagi sprites. I edited the face on my own though. First time doing anything related to sprites, it's pretty fun!

Within the game's files, there's a file indicating an unused fighter dubbed as "Retro Luigi", being a unique retro rep animated purely by sprites.

He was going to replace Mr. G&W initially, but was scrapped after much reconsideration.

one thing i like more about persona 3 than 4 are the character sprites. i feel like im in the minority when i say i prefer the less detailed sprites. they also have more poses instead of just slightly changing facial expressions

it's spooky week! today's character who can't fucking see is henry from fire emblem: awakening!
henry is a cheerful dark mage with a macabre sense of humor and a bright enthusiasm for bloodshed. his eyes are usually closed, but they partially open in his nervous sprites.

Yes indeed! From reviews of Book One, the number one thing people disapproved of was the inconsistency between the style of the CGs & the sprites. The lovely CG artist is doing a set of sprites, and an artist with a style more similar to the sprites was hired to help with CGs.💕
