Pulirula is justifiably infamous for its bizarre imagery

However, *looking past some of that* the art and music make for one of the most storybook like games I've seen, something I feel like hasn't been replicated often

One of the most charming games I've seen

First two pages are done-ish. I know I’ll come back to them in a few months though. Ha!

This was yet another Mystery Box piece. For this one I decided to go a little more classic/vintage, evoking that almost art nouveau storybook feel for the pirate/rogue character I was told he was.

Not entirely, the Sonic Storybook Series and even the Sonic Riders series got love from Sonic Channel.

Interesting observation--

A number of scenes in the NiGHTS storybook--such as NiGHTS' capture by Reala, Elliot finding out NiGHTS' true nature, the final confrontation with Wizeman--were later repurposed as cutscenes in Journey of Dreams 💜

okay actually if i were to make laine a human and letty a vampire it'd be like, the same deal where laine is an incompetent ex-villain from a storybook set centuries in the past, and letty's still from a modern setting (but now she's a competent modern-day vampire)
