Experimenting with YouTube captions to see if I can replicate the formatting in the game's speech bubbles.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an outline effect working for the SFX subtitle, but the rest looks pretty good.
It looks specially nice with the speech bubbles hidden.
The box art and subtitle became known from these ads in the early 90s, which also revealed a sketch for FFIII's boxart and FF LEGEND II (aka. Sa•Ga 2) originally having the subtitle The Search for Truth, which was dropped by release in late 1991.
Every unique art asset for Episode 2 is finished! That still leaves all the alternate versions of existing art to do, the rest of the subtitles, and some edits to the credit sequence... but I think then, I'm... DONE?!
