The idea is to practice on transitions between environments within the same level set. Free chr space in the bg table: 1.5k (about 100+ tiles). Enough to switch out a a quarter block with a proper mapper. Maybe some tileswap animated streams and fog borders? We'll see!

Oh man, ep. "Excalibur". They just did one of those Dragon Ball Z-style cel-to-painting transitions for the cliffhanger. It was so abruptly dramatic, caught me completely off-guard. I'll keep watching when I stop laughing.
