This is also kind of an over generalization considering the only similarities betweens these styles is the mouth and eyes. The way each artist draws bodytypes, hair color keeps every show incredibly distinct from one another especially in gumballs case, but hey keep generalizing

I find references to be helpful, especially for animation. I did something similar for a class assignment a while back, and literally looked up "Bat flying slow motion."

It's handy to key the biggest changes in movement, then smooth things out with in-betweens.

I realized I've really only worked on 2s and rarely on 1s. I added frames with my OCs turn around to test if was any better and compare. Personally, I don't think the extra effort is worth it, unless I had an assistant or something. Or maybe I'm just bad at inbetweens...

those mixed colors also make the "in betweens", so if your base color is brown and your shade is dark? you need a color to "unite" the two so they colors don't look so awkward against each other, and this is when I start to use the blend tool to unite all these colors!
