Tomboy Quest Day 4: painted version of day 3. used only a hard rectangular opacity brush rather than my usual airbrush-heavy approach to really focus on shapes. pretty good overall, given how uncomfortable i was for a lot of the process.

now were really getting into interesting negative space and strong contrasts. v strong triangular movement—~15-16 in the body, not gonna bother counting the steep trapezoids on the ribbon or the lacing.

2022-02-04 update: Adjusted the leg + generic file cleaning. I intend to morph hips and torso to a more angular robot style. Overhaul the arm sockets and adjust the back kibble. I like the wings big but not the current 1-piece form so time to sketch what I want to see.

Assembly images are created by generating random structures like this and then sorting the separate pieces on a triangular grid. Largest pieces first, brute forcing sampling possibilities on a spiral path from the center.
