Nope. I tried it. You're stuck with "Interceptor-12" etc. Can get really confusing if you have, say, one armed with only a cannon, to bring down those very small UFO's. ..also, the flame and smoke don't animate. And the exit button is still labelled "Quit to DOS." 😮 Outrageous!
