perhaps this is weird but always feel strange rememberin that frequent or drawn out derealization is not normal or somethin most can relate to.
same with not being able to enjoy being outside due to sunlight or threat of crashing fatigue

Growing up I suffered from some sort of undiagnosed anxiety disorder and experienced what I now know to be depersonalization/derealization disorder. Although I'm much better now, I do think it left a major impact on the person I grew into.

Some sources wouldn't classify this as horror but it's one of the few pieces of media I can say genuinely terrified me. Loss of sense of identity and derealization are some of my worst fears and their portrayal doesn't make you feel like just a spectator.
