November, 1925. Fog rolling in across the sea & up around the headland the muffled warning lows out. Her cottage is bright & warm. There's the gramophone, & for tea, Dutch cocoa & prune cake & yellow cream. But the waves are so strong & pulling, she has to lock & bolt the door.
