100 Years of the Oriental Ceramics Society, a wonderful exhibition. Superb objects as well as fascinating information about the members of the society, past and present. Originally most curators of Oriental art in the UK were men, I suspect women outnumber men now.

I could weep when I look at the damage inflicted on some of the images that preserves (often when being prepared for reproduction) - BEFORE they arrived at of course. However, I'm starting to think that they might have the makings of an exhibition...

It's always nice to get close up and personal with Art, to see the marks and strokes the artist has made. Here are some close-up photos of some of the work in our current exhibition.

There’s one week left of the Open [2] online exhibition.

I was super excited to have two pieces in the exhibition along with many talented Salford artists. Including two of my art group.

Make sure you check it out before it ends 👇

I’m moving studio, so I’m selling a few pieces… including this Paddy Considine portrait, signed by the man himself and a Bob Mortimer portrait that was shortlisted for the Summer Exhibition.

Jane Rogerson-Gleave's paintings have a dark side, a twist.

The paintings she's submitted for our Open Exhibition are all inspired by the beauty she sees in the simple every day & its temporal nature.

See Jane's thought-provoking paintings at our Open Exhibition. Opens Friday.

Initially he painted landscapes before, as his reputation grew, he turned to genre by 1808. His first works were shown at the 1804 RA exhibition. Suffolk Landscape (c1810), John Varley (1814) & Horses (1816). Varley was his brother-in-law.

This weekend is your last chance to view the surreal drawings and sculpture of James Castle RSA.

The place where the conscious and subconscious worlds intermingle is a consistent theme throughout the exhibition.
