One of my all time favourite character would be my Tiefling Magus (or Hexblade if D&D), Sparrow Verndari, despite never getting a chance to play him.
Raised by a witch in the woods he called "Nana." He grew up to not resent the people who killed her, but pity them.

Here is another I need to redesign. The Hexblade Warlock Human Obelisk. He's a nice guy, but has a weird aura about him. An archaeologist who found an odd locked coffin. He broke the lock, & inside was nothing, but he felt oddly attached. He speaks in Victorian slang.
