Some of the sketch I made for it, I tried to keep the phyrexian aspect while still giving it owl feature. I used some tendril of flesh on it's neck to keep the silhouette of an owl but with a creepy twist

I refined Case's silhouette. I like sci-fi designs that are overripe, even kind of silly (blame Moebius), but Case wasn't quite what was looking for. This still has some cartoonish excesses, but it getting closer to what I want.

Paint the silhouette of the hair before actually drawing it. Separate the hair into bangs, side pieces, and the back, and figure out how the silhouette looks, so that way youre not erasing every line you draw, and the hair flows more
