I'm THINKING about getting the "XP-PEN Innovator 16" tablet with screen, since my old Huion 1060 plus graphic tablet is dying and during my time abroad (3 months) I only got my 15,7 laptop (no additional monitor) with me.

I use MiSTer on an ACER monitor and a 4K OLED LG TV and let it scales itself on both to great effect. Even on OLED the shadowmask filters look great. C64 and NEOGEO examples. Photo taken of the screen with phone camera in macro.

what i call my lazy doodling is when i turn of my monitor colours and pick random ones to pint with. that's why some of my doodles have wack colouring.

i also have made a lot of palettes so i just pick 10-15 colours from them before going gray scale.

So, after some months barely drawing I'm out of practice. I'm also using a completely new pc, with a new tablet and a "new" shitty monitor with poor colours and low contrast, so... yeah, It will take some time for me to get comfortable with drawing again.
