i like to freehand my sketches/paints, then take them to clip studio, and clean them up with the symmetry ruler & free transform. it keeps my designs "on model," but they still look hand-drawn.. and it means my initial painting doesn't have to be precise lol

Once it's resized, tweak anything that looks off. I very subtly adjusted the pixels around the eyes here, but it would've been fine either way.
I use this technique exclusively now. It makes the process quicker & easier since you don't have to be as precise for most of it.
