I just made a quick colored sketch trying to color in the adventure style. The pose is referencing the "sayonara Shadow" pose in the end credit. of SA2. I gotta say that the ending of SA2 is one of the few endings in sonic games that hit differently.

Sonic Adventure focused on exploration and the hub areas allowed you to immerse yourself into the story and setting. I've always appreciated how connected everything felt.

That's why I prefer SA1 over SA2.
It just feels grander and it was fun to watch these characters develop.
