In a cave in the hillside at Corriegills, Isle of Arran, faeries lived. This cave was apparently full of gold and treasure. A man called Fullarton frequently took some wool and would sit, knitting with them.

Баба Яга. 2019.

Для меня Баба Яга - это в первую очередь Хозяйка, имеющая власть и в мире живых, и в мире мёртвых. Она не злая, но стоит на страже того, к чему людям лучше не приближаться, по крайней мере без подготовки.

I am volunteering my arachnid lil demon daughter Coffee!

She's a Spiritus Familiaris from German folklore, a demon that was typically imprisoned in bottles or boxes. Buying one gave incredible good fortune for the demon dragging its owner to hell after death.

And speaking about manga, there's this super underrated Chinese manhua artist/illustrator, Zao Dao.

She mainly does one-shots, drawing from Chinese supernatural folklore. Her works are both vibrant and dark, whimsical and eerie, rich and atmospheric.

If you ask young people in Trinidad and Tobago about "Dragon Ball Z" they could tell you about it. If you ask them about T&T folklore some would tell you "tha' is old people t'ing". will change that.
