Mistakes are part of the process. I messed this up by layering too much which made the piece look really FLAT and I made the bridge of the nose too thin when trying to fix it. So I’ve scraped away that section with my blade and now I can start fresh :)

Coloring process. Flats. Added some shadows and highlights and a watercolor texture on another layer. Did some slight tweaking to values and a few subtle color holds on the line art. Also reduced the opacity of the texture layer.

Ive scrapped the idea of a base like this so many times before, I never felt happy with my linearts and hated the process... but the iPad turned that around completely! Inking is so much fun now!

I woke up feeling like using red. During my creation part of my process was not recorded to due problems with phone memory. Spent a bit of time fixing that but did miss a chunk of my video process. Anyway, here are the results!
