Saved some of the drawings I was going to throw away.
The pentel brown ink and my illustration board didn't like each other and were smearing/bleeding, but I ended up using that to my advantage and blended it with gouache. 😄

I think the theme for this entire book 1 is really about childhood and the plight of children especially in a medieval age. This is what I hope will separate my fantasy story from many others. So many male heroic tales don't cover this and I hope mine fills a niche.
