The first of my NZHERALD Tuesday editorial cartoons in today's paper. And it's very nice to be back on the drawing board. It’s a 30 year old drawing board quietly acquired from The Australian, and the cartoon is drawn with an old fashioned dip pen and washed with German ink.

I was in a mood to draw horror, and after some attempts, I have now achieved hyperrealistic eyes in MS Paint.
The first one is that noncanon Hizumi picture, the one with no mouth and is inky.
The second one is Seifu.
Mold and mildew stain the damp paper.
@HonaCostello Hello Nostradamus! Here, loot at some digital art I created, it's all painted with my hand, a pen, on digital paper. Van Gogh would be very interested in it and curious how all of this works! I'm sure he would become one of the greatest digital artists if we could revive him! :)
2) Heritage
Paint applies smoothly. You can easily lift the paint as well. Absorbs paint nicely. Colors doesn't dull out after drying. Good for glazing as well. Overall, a really good paper. I'd choose this and Montval any day.
@HonaCostello The top two were digitally painted in Photoshop, the bottom two were stippled with Pitt and Micron marker on card stock and notebook paper. It's almost like the medium you choose to work in has nothing to do with skill!
