Loving this new island generator I'm faffing with. It makes flat and flakey sky islands shallow enough to see the tree roots. This'll be a 3rd Twilight Forest world "Skylight Forest" option, after the second one which will be renamed to "Twilight Void"

I remember seeing that artwork from Roots Search before while looking through Naoyuki Kato's art, so I'm fairly sure that's his artwork. There's another piece of his that has the same motif with some similar details, though I'm not really well informed on Kato's art or anything.

The cover for Roots Search looks a whole lot like this intro cinema from Digan no Maseki, the 1988 RPG with art by Naoyuki Kato. But Roots Search predated it by about two years and Kato was not involved (at least according to JP Wikipedia) so it appears to be coincidental.
