When I started doing animations, I couldn't really figure out how would I approach toon shading Sonic...until today. Plan to use this style for future Sonic content.

Not too much of a but there was an interaction that felt incredibly OOC for Sonic. I feel as though they completely misunderstood one of the only character traits that has stayed pretty consistent throughout the majority of Sonic's incarnations.

Realism does not fit Sonic. It is explicitly a cartoon style. Sonic does not make any sense with a realistic look. All of Sonic's concept art was very clearly cartoon/anime style and that's where it takes inspiration. Other Sonic Team games like Ristar and NiGHTS follow suite.
