Didn't work out like I wanted. I didn't plan this study out at all. Painted the sky without leaving the white of the canvas for the cloud, didn't give the gouache time to dry before adding new strokes. The values are off. Just a lot to learn from to do this better next time

A lot of work left to do, its not as clean/good as I want it to be, maybe I should study more of my favorite artist’s renders and values.

though said, I can feel my speed improving a lot on painting, getting more comfortable now.

My most recent drawing referenced a piece from @/Arc_Edo11. It mostly served as an anatomy study but also as a means to learn new poses, since that’s what I commonly get stuck on the most.

Trust me, coming from a much lesser-skilled artist, there is no shame in using references.
