I think this guy looks like a crocodile snake eel, which means he could very well evolve into a -snake-. If he does, then Zodiac theory lives, if he doesn't, then he paves the way for more reptile fire starters. Either way is a win win.

I like this funky little dude, I could definitely see him being a Fire Dragon type, fits the Chinese zodiac motif, and if it's still crocodillian like in the end, would kind of fit the mythological medieval creature the Salamander which are generally portrayed as reptilian

Imagine how cool it would’ve been if we had an Ox fire starter for this region especially with it possibly being inspired by Spain/Latin regions #pokemon

My dream for Quaxly's final evo is a musketeer. Give him a hat and a sword-- Sirfetch'd vibes, but with a rapier.
Maybe water/fighting, or water/ice with an icicle?

Someone DM'd me once just to say "You're an idiot" because they'd read an 8 year old comment I made about how the Pokémon fire starter/zodiac theory wasn't real.

OK I COULDNT HELP MYSELF after seeing people saying that fuecoco is inspired by a pepper. We haven't had a starter evo without limbs for a while, and we do lack the snake for the "zodiac myth" still missing x'D Spicy sneck man. #Fuecoco ghost/fire?

Well, #Fuegococo is literally a pepper, but I know about the theory of the Fire Starters and the Chinese Zodiac, so I tried to mix a snake but I loved the crocodile shape as well.

I might try to design it again other day. but meanwhile I'll be posting the ideas!
