#SkillNotTalent
Never compliment an artist, writer or any other creator for their "talent" there's no such thing in existence, it's hard work, lots of time and passion for what one is doing.
#SkillNotTalent
2014 - 2022
Good art comes from perseverance and patience only
2013 vs 2022

#SkillNotTalent damn the improvement is just chef’s kiss. So why not contribute for funsies? So have the oldest drawing I’ve ever posted which I drew on Summer of 2018 vs a recent piece. I’ve been drawing my whole life so I do have older stuff and still have a long way to go
2011 v 2022
Making it my 2023 goal to make more art than I had this previous year so I can continue to grow even more!

2017 vs 2022
Going strong for five years & no end in sight!!!
#SkillNotTalent
There are some circumstances which makes learning how to draw easier at the very beginning: being a good observant, stubbornness, having a good art teacher or supporting family. But very quickly it's all about practices, drawing everyday. So easy yet so hard.
2017 - 2022

Got my first wacom bamboo in 2012.
Before that - 2+ years of drawing with cheap pencil on cheap office paper. Good times.

2012-2022
My first ever digital drawing and one I made this year. It was a long way!
#SkillNotTalent 2014 vs 2022
hell yeah love me some progress memes
#SkillNotTalent
2017 - 2022, can you believe the first one was an attempt at semi-realism?
I see #skillnottalent going around and let me say
When I first started doing art, I'd take hours upon hours for a bust, shading was completely incorrect, I couldn't actually draw full bodies, and wouldn't even think about backgrounds
Perseverance takes you far
