Kimura's designs were some of my favs just due to the energy in them. And when he was paired up with Taniguchi's directing it was peak content seeing them get so overemotional and wild.

Some people might not like how "oppressively 90s" his designs could look at times. But to me, there's a nostalgic warmth to them. They remind of me of when I was prowling imageboards and getting deeper into anime back in the mid-00s.
