I never liked blaziken’s design man
like at least some of the other Pokémon were consistent with their body types even if they become bipedal, but man this is so jarring to me

I wouldn’t say there’s an acceptable time since it would depend on you, but being able to at least stay consistent with an art style that you’re satisfied with would be a good start!
It would be easier for the client to identify what you can give and for you as the artist to draw

So far I had the most trouble with balloon connectors. suggests using the pen tool, but I had trouble getting consistent width, so instead I drew a rectangle and used warp>arc. The rest is the same instruction from the book.

Made little progress on my Yelan, She's quite tough to get right. Been thinking of changing the entire line art of her hair to create a more consistent flow. That way it'll be easier to shade, either way good progress!
