I think I'm starting to settle on the overall concept for the harbour now. Sometimes simple value sketches can get you much further just because it's faster to get the ideas down and experiment. Next will be diving into the actual buildings and how it all works...

I've been very thinking: Is there really gonna be any future for these kinds of "[non-oc character] but paper-thin" drawings?
They are incredibly specific and not as exciting as my origami art, but they sure are several times faster to draw and still plenty of fun.

[WIP] Here's the end of today's painting process. I've been getting better and faster at using csp watercolors, but there is still a lot more work involved in using it over other digital options. The look you get from it is something I enjoy enough to suffer through it.
