random but I learned that yellow is one of the strongest pigments out there when it comes to wet-on-wet techniques and it can push every other color away, even black.

I always think in big and simple shape. You can always add detail later by giving it a soft shade, blur some part of the hard shade, adding another color, etc

Learning about shape and light source is fundamental for shading!
