Can't deny their TMNT influence, perhaps as a parody, yet they definitely have a charm of their own. For many of us they define the era of 'nes hard' and combine everything that made late 80s and early 90s characters (and games) so great.

The original Mode B Abobo sprite was pretty small. Same sprite used in the single player Mode A. I've stretched him to make him more intimidating when he fights the other Mode B characters. Would like him bigger but could loose some of his cherub like charm
