Sketched this during a dnd game last night (this is King Cyrilian of Savillo, one of the settings in our campaign) and finished it up today with some lineart and values...pretty happy with it tbh it reminds me of some nice ink drawings I’ve seen!

I tried some different settings but all of them look nearly equally uncanny
1) 8x interpolation with depth perception
2) the gif I'm using (each frame is upscaled with waifu 2x)
3) 4x interpolation (40 fps)
4) 8x interpolation with cartoon depth and smooth down interpolation

Concept art and images of A.I.’s Rouge City. I’m always drawn to settings in movies. The darker and stranger, the better. Cinema to me is travelling—I visit movies. Rouge City is a neon-colored nightmare, a red-light billboard of a town, but I love dipping into it like a tourist.

Finally, I got this animation working! Had to export it using really weird settings and cutting 20 seconds.

because gosh darn, it needs an encore! The Famicom soundtrack kinda works with the Gameboy aesthetic.
