Eyes by Erté. Born Romain de Tirtoff in St. Petersburg in 1892, he began drawing costumes aged 5. Erté moved to Paris to work (very successfully) as a fashion illustrator & costume designer. His #ArtDeco style became popular again in the #1960s. He died in 1990.

Spider-Man by Mœbius. 1990.
My brother was a big Blueberry fan as a kid. For me, with my Muppet dolls and Betty Boop figurines, it was too grim, too real. It took me quite long to become a Mœbius fan—but when I did, me being me, I immediately thought he was a genius.
