Grabbed a few

The aesthetic/branding has always been really appealing to me, and I figured it wasn't a bad time to pull the trigger on them

Disclaimer though that I don't agree that something being Western, Mainstream and Appealinv To Kids necessarily precludes it from being art. Examples:

Art Chain

Guess I got tagged in one of those. Thanks Crust. 2022 has been me mostly trying to get a grasp on making stuff look appealing, since before that year I never actually drew as hobby or anything. Hence the stuff here is recent.

Honestly, you might be right, this does look a bit more appealing

4. Bluey (rewatch + catch up📺)

Very VERY easy way to appeal to me is to have a show have some sort of childcare in it. This show is everything my father side of me wants and more! If anyone asks me why I want kids I’ll show them this show. Actual peak television.

imo is more aesthetically appealing than (with the exception of Azuki Spirits). However I think is one of the most detailed PFP collections. That being said I appreciate all the projects, mentioned above! 🫡

this question plagued me for such a long time, the most useful tip I found is to see what aspects of other artist’s style that you find appealing and incorporating that into your artwork. Eventually with enough time I happened to fall into a groove that I was comfortable with! -

Y'know the way something gets described as "charming" a bit too much? It's a little overused as a descriptor, but that's really how I'd describe The Serpent Rogue. Charming. And you get to be a plague doctor, which I admit is a big part of the appeal for me, not gonna lie there.

priv Oomf suggested Childe.

He seems to be a very interesting character but his design is so unappealing to me that literally all I memorized are his empty eyes and that you can see his belly (or so I thought)

Naoki Urasawa's work, such as 20th Century Boys and Monster, should also appeal to a Western audience with a grounded and plot-driven storytelling style.
Monster is about a doctor who is wrestling with saving the life of a child who turned out to be a psychopathic killer.

After some tinkering around, I think I'm liking this second process more than I did at first. I may not like it AS MUCH as my main process, but it has an appeal.

It may not be as bold, but it feels calmer and less frenetic. The experiments continue!

Which might lead some to despair that art isn't what it used to be.

But maybe we're looking in the wrong place. Painting is only *one* form of art, after all, and there are many others which continue to flourish, achieving both popular appeal and artistic greatness...

Intro: With a look like that I bet you get no bitches. Let me help rearrange your face so it’s less unappealing

Win: No bitches + Ratioed + neon hair + low power level equals out to you were gonna take this L one way or another

A bit late, but happy ! I'm Jay, a soon-to-be college graduate looking to get into the artistic field. I enjoy most drawing and painting fantasy characters and creepy creatures.
I'm currently looking for work , should you find my art appealing.

I think that small changes to the color pallete can really make the design more appealing to the eye

I hate people who edit things to "fix" drawings, But I do not have the intention to "fix" anything here. This is just an example of what could be done.

Really curious about Neuro-sama, an actual AI vtuber. Enjoying her streams (though probably just as a novelty) and I wonder if this might lead to a new wave of new AI vtubers?

Once there's a whole bunch of them the appealwill die down but for now I find it fascinating.
