The result of driving 90 minutes to spend a night in the middle of field under a sky full of stars.

My 2nd attempt at extracting Ha and Oiii from my DSLR and recombining them. I like this one a lot better. Much more interesting than the original. Personally I'm not a huge fan of red, so I can see this being my processing technique from now on

Decided to try taking some photos I shot last week and apply an SHO color pallet. I’m not really sure how I feel about this one 😂. This is the Lagoon Nebula (M8) shot with OSC using L-Extreme filter.

The Pelican Nebula - IC5070 - 2 hours on the RASA - I still can’t see the ‘Pelican’ though 😃

Probably my best deep space photo to date😳 (The Pelican Nebula)

I've spent a lot of time staring at pixels at 200% magnification. The data I am collecting with the ZWO ASI2600MM and Chroma 3nm NB filters is THE BEST I've ever seen.

I was out shooting Deep Sky astrophotography last week when I recognized the Milky Way rising over the canyon walls behind me. I turned around and was able to capture this great shot. Taken in Socorro, NM.

February 18th 2020, Mars briefly ducked behind our moon. Here is my capture of the moment it reappeared, as the clouds finally parted. The weather nearly made me miss this event, yet added such incredible drama to the composition.
