Alternative move brushes! Move topological and elastic can be super handy.
If you have merged subtools, topological can isolate and grab individual objects without the need for masking. Elastic acts like a cross between move and snakehook and is great for posing hair or cloth

Steps 1-4

Painting the light patterns feels complex at first, but it forms a repeating pattern of interlocking triangles & diamonds that we can replicate with soft brushes!
