Day 22: BL with the best story

THIS IS SUCH A HARD QUESTION but I think I need to point to King's Maker S1 again. The story is borderline literary in its characterization, foreshadowing, and the way it doesn't waste a moment. Between this and the art it's basically perfection.

I get what they were going for in devilman crybaby with Ryo/Satan’s characterization but I was sad that it was changed. It’s good at giving insight into how he feels rather than turning him into something that doesn’t understand feelings.

One of favorite series is by Gekiga Sonjuku classmate Tetsuo Hara. The series is highly influential and referenced in many of her works. The characterizations between the characters mirror those of Sesshomaru & companions.
