The amazing character actor Wilford Brimley died a few days ago. The man led a storied life as a rancher, expert horseman, actor, & cereal salesman, & storied lives make for interesting faces artists love to draw, so here's my take on Brimley in Conte crayon on black ground.

Saddened by the news we lost WILFORD BRIMLEY: a great actor who has graced many movies with his talent (COCOON, THE NATURAL, THE FIRM, among many), but for me (& many here) one of his best performances was BLAIR in THE THING.
Farewell, Wilford, you'll be missed.
