Twilight hour vs. Golden hour

tried some digital versions, then went with pretty straightforward inking on was experimenting with layering saturated colors on top of each other with watercolor pencils. have a few other tests to try but this was fun enough. (7x7") $200 etc

Love the transparency of colour and scratching the surface to reveal the colour underneath. It’s a satisfying process, layering colours on top of each other and the tonal mixes that happen. It was a good day in the studio 🎨👩🏽‍🎨
