Even though MGSV's clear counteraction of the design trends and narrative motifs of past MG games is rather obvious, certain aspects go underexamined. Like how MGSV explicitly reverses the revelation of a secret parent-child relationship that you see in a lot of KJP games.
Padialka, I think, is the single worst design nightmare I've ever put myself through💀Dialga and Palkia have so many visual motifs going on that I really struggled to keep them both recognizable. The anatomy of its legs (as you should be able to see lmao) was also a big challenge
One of my favourite parts of Project Nought was solidifying uniforms for the fictional company! It was really fun to come up with unique clothes for each position, yet trying to make them feel cohesive. Lots of plane/travel motifs, so airline uniforms were a big inspo!

It already seems like we have orange and grape motifs dotted around, and two of the Starters could be based on food, too. Fuecoco could be inspired by a hot pepper, and a 'sprig' often refers to culinary herbs like parsley.
