Chuck Dixon in particular was hugely fond of this, using her to hype up even one-shot villains who never showed up again.

Mephisto was starting to have a psychotic episode as he began loudly mumbling to himself. He was hearing disgusting noises and laughter people calling him weak and pathetic. It got to the point even he was laughing but... it wasn’t stable till he saw ‘Image’ that made him scream.
