ok more researching. this “band,” “within runs” is directly lifted off a PRE-EXISTING BAND’S album and brand (kind of) the hoosiers and within the ruins operate in entirely separate spaces. the only similarity is that both albums released in august 2010 (1st and 31st)

I suspect the story isn't directly analogous to anything we'll see in deltarune, but it does seem to touch upon similar themes of control, albiet with a MUCH darker tone.
