I usually stay away from feathers and use other qualities that character has, like my Jayfeather design doesn’t have feathers...instead it has star marks to give off a dream vibe, something else he’s known for. I’m not against feathers as long as it’s not on the head or ears

Ugh this image gets reposted without credit so much. This is a feathered T. rex I painted in 2014. No it is no longer a current view of the animal. Current research suggests T. rex was sparsely covered if at all by feathers.

Webbing was on my list for tonight. I added some foot and leg details to the ruddy duck's foot / leg and started adding a bit more dark shadow to the lower tail for preparation in adding the lighter lower tail feathers.
