A lot of Lokee's features are inspired and influenced by the Giant Eland! (specifically the facial markings and spiral horns!) Although his ears are meant to have a more bovine nature and occasionally flick/emote with that sort of musculature!

the marble sacrifical altar in the background was a big level up moment for me. I need to return to more backgrounds like it - it was immensely pleasurable to paint. I can't remember what i'd intended those phyrexian markings to say. I think its direct quotes from the altar cards

This was his previous design! I wanted to keep the super basics (half white w/orange markings, general body shape, etc) but I wanted to update his colors/patterns bc he was originally made for an ARPG and had some design/pattern limitations (also ft Kel's old design)
