Occasionally I see people talking about "ripping game models" to print for props, so I thought I'd toss up an example of why you generally cannot do that. The low-detail sword is the game rip, the detailed one is mine from scratch.

Hello i wanted to share how i do my cosplay for Midori's Kon Avatar, i have 3D modelled a head base which fits the Kon, From there i model the hair and props for the Kon to hold as you can see with my previous final fantasy props, and Megaman props i made entirely from scratch.
