Just last year it happened to me, I lost 3 months straight after. Locked myself up at home not of trauma though, I worried myself with stds. Spent the next 6 months

Blending colours in pixelart is VERY hard.
With only 22500 pixels, things are going to look rigid and rough... Probably why so many pixel artists use flats.

The example on the top left is quite old, but this collection of images shows how I blend.
