Interesting find while ct scanning. This Clarias stappersii had eaten a frog, which, in turn, had a fish in its gut - a cypriniform by the looks of the pharyngeal jaw.

I've been slowly testing 3D Scanning real world objects... with varying results. With the new statue in my possession I decided to try it out. Here are my two attempts... I think you can see the improvements in my approach in V2.

One reason I was super excited to receive my phone for, is the 3D scanning capability. I did a quick test and with a lot slower movement and more accuracy I think it could be great (not amazing but the technology is cool!)

I am test scanning the longest travelator "Domain Express Walkway” using iPhone 12 Pro Lidar

This is the result from 3D Scanner App, there is a slight deviation when I turn around 180 degree. The tunnel is around 230 meters.

File size is around 500+MB.

Thanks of doing this! I'm Kirby, and I make fan art, paleo art, and creature designs. Here's some old art I've been scanning lately.

My name's Drift! ^^ It's so awesome of you to do this. So I usually take sketches before scanning 'em and using a program to vector them nice and clean. I'm usually active on here and FA (MetalSamurai). I do take commissions but they're currently closed at the moment. ^^

For your Halloween enjoyment here's the unobstructed artwork from the 1970's Larami Frankenstein & Dracula Glow Putty packages. Years ago I spent way too much time scanning and photoshopping out the text.

Scanning a few older works before my originals kick it, and came across one of my favorites!!! However, there's a really REALLY inaccurate hookah in it. I lost my mind but that's what an un-referenced item will look like. Re-drew it! Tried to match my 10 years ago style too!

Finally, here are the composition drafts I did before moving to the final designs. With the assignment requiring a 70% Digital and 30% Traditional feel, I colored in my characters by scanning in watercolor samples I did in my sketchbook.

“‘You’re not on here!’ said Harry, after scanning the bottom of the tree.
‘I used to be there,’ said Sirius, pointing at a small, round, charred hole in the tapestry, rather like a cigarette burn. ‘My sweet mother blasted me off after I ran away”
