A peasant and a rich man go to heaven. The peasant is disappointed that he is ignored, while the rich man is heralded with much joy. St Peter explains "we get poor men all the time, whereas there's not been a rich man here for 100s of years"

The little lamb and the little fish - the evil stepmother turns her stepdaughter into a lamb and her stepson into a fish. But when she tries to eat them, the cook spots that something is up (the animals speaking in rhyme is a bit of a clue).

The elves - famous one! The elves help out the poor shoemakers, until they are given clothes. It comes with two other stories - one features a human godmother to a fairy baby, which is a nice counterpoint to all those fairy godmothers.
