i love the fact hes like your average boring history/law major but in a good way, very pragmatic and calculated and for some reason I always liked characters along the whole "Julius Caesar" trope

I think the Time Bokan series, especially Yatterman’s Doronjo Gang is where a lot of today’s versions of this trope can trace their lineage from.

I have NOT Forgotten "Pretty Julie Technomancer" but I think the need for an "angsty magical girl webcomic that deconstructs the tropes" is a lot smaller these days than it was even 10 years ago. I love the character but I think a 2020s version needs some tweaks to feel fresh.
