The worst part about trying to learn/practicing new techniques is dealing with your art looking worse than it normally does.

Used this portrait to experiment with some photos and brush techniques. Couldn't help but make Rayla look pretty ^^

After some very memorable moments of roleplay on @AArelith I decided to draw Hlarnoth, Harbinger of the Abyssal powers. I had a lot of fun experimenting with new coloring techniques - almost as fun as roleplaying with this character!

I am still working on nuka girls stuffff, I am just slow, but here is some face design progress (they are inconsistent because I was trying different techniques on them)

My style really improved once I switched over to Clip Studio along with actually studying up on other techniques on how to digitally paint.

I'm on deadline, but I just took a moment to try something that helps with a problem I sometimes have. Thick paint in Painter used to seem like a gimmick, but the brush strokes help give linearity and flow to wet on wet techniques that feel amorphous otherwise.

I doodled another Aqua! Trying out different brushes and techniques in Procreate.
